Polaris Festival 2017  in Verbier is just around the corner!


We are delighted to welcome you for this third edition that will take place in Verbier from 7th to 10th December 2017. Because the event takes place in a beautiful but unusual setting, we would like to send you some practical information to make sure you are all set for this musical experience in the mountains.

 Important information: All the events on Thursday 7th are free, however please note that you have to register for the Chalet d'Adrien events (Tom Trago and Gerd Janson) via redbull.emr@polarisfestival.ch

How to get to the festival ?

By train :  From Martigny with the express Saint Bernard train, we recommend that you stop at Le Châble train station and then catch the gondola to reach Polaris.www.sbb.ch

By car: You can easily access Verbier or Le Châble by car.  From Martigny,  follow Verbier/Grand St-Bernard, Sembrancher and then Verbier.  Once you are  in the Châble, follow the Polaris Parking signs for free parking or continue towards Verbier. 

Polaris Parking:  For parking,  we recommend that you park  in Le Châble : Parking Télécabine le Châble-Verbier (follow the  Polaris Parking sign).  From there,  you can reach Polaris by gondola - please make sure to exchange your ticket for a wristband at the Relais des Neiges restaurant facing Médran Lift Station.
NB: Polaris Parking in Le Châble is free.


Tickets for the Main stage at the Mouton Noir are sold out!
Tickets for the main stage at the Mountain Noir, are  sold out, but there is also a great selection of free events happening around Verbier, as the village's venues transform into underground hot spots for electronic music of the highest quality. The free events include the kick-off to the festival on December 7, with the free opening event 'Electronic Music Ride', from 1:30 pm at Chalet Adrien, with guests including Gerd Janson and Tom Trago. In addition, there will be five free venues alongside the main stage, including two newcomers for this year - The Farm Club and Crock no Name - alongside L’Etoile, Farinet and Casbah.

The Mouton Noir ticket holders will have priority access to all venues. If you attend a free event, please make sure to come early or book a table by calling the desired venue. You will find booking information at: www.facebook.com/polarisfestival/events


Where can I change my purchased ticket? (Purchased tickets must be exchanged for a Polaris wristband). 
Purchased tickets are exchanged for a festival wristband at the Relais des Neiges restaurant facing Médran Lift Station in Verbier. There are NO ticket offices at the Mouton Noir (Les Ruinettes) or Le Châble!
The gondola pass to the Mouton Noir is included in the price. The wristband is personal and is a requirement for admission to the festival. Lost wristbands will not be replaced and broken festival wristbands are not valid for admission. Tickets are sold exclusively for the festival as a whole event and not for individual artists, or acts.

Tickets are not redeemable following changes in the schedule or cancelled artists. The program may be suspended or cancelled due to extreme weather conditions, for which case your ticket will be refunded.

Ticket Office opening hours (to exchange your Polaris ticket for a wristband and gondola pass):
Friday: 13h00 - 21h45
Saturday: 11h00 - 21h45
Sunday: 11h00 - 17h45

Last gondola to the Mouton Noir: 15 minutes after closing time of the Ticket Office.
Last gondola from Médran to Le Châble: 01H00 (20h00 on Sunday)

Important notice:
  • Please note that minors are not allowed at the festival.
  • Don’t forget your identity card!
  • The main stage - Le Mouton Noir (Les Ruinettes) - is at an altitude of 2’200 m. Cold temperatures and snow are expected. Warm clothing and winter shoes are strongly recommended, especially to use the gondolas at night.
  • Respecting is protecting: please respect the mountain and do not throw anything out of the gondolas windows
  • The selling and consumption of illegal products is prohibited. 
  • The Ticket Office is located at the Relais des Neiges restaurant facing Medran Lift Station in Verbier. There are NO ticket offices at the Mouton Noir (Les Ruinettes) or Le Châble!
